Ductile Iron Pipes

Ductile iron pipes are manufactured with centrifugal casting method from sphero cast iron material for potable water pipelines. The pipes produced in this manufacturing method are relatively more nonrigid with higher strength values. In normal casting method, graphits are in lamellar structure which causes brittleness; on the other hand in centrifugal casting method, graphits are in spherical lamellar structure which brings flexibility.
